Transforming 1,200 sq. ft. space into a traditional South Indian restaurant

Location: Malad, Mumbai The Space: An opulent 1200 sq ft space in heart of Malad, Mumbai.
The Ask: To create a space where customers step in and instantly feel transported to Kerala—a warm, earthy ambiance that’s rich in heritage and timeless elegance. This design should encapsulate the essence of Kerala, blending natural elements, traditional artistry, and a welcoming, sophisticated style.
The Result:
We designed a richly crafted coffered ceiling to enhance the South Indian ambiance of the restaurant.
We incorporated subtle and intricate South Indian-inspired patterns into the flooring, adding cultural authenticity and refined detail to the space.
Restaurant wall décor and Paintings were inspired by culture and craft of south India.
Made use of Earthy tones like yellows and pastel blue complemented by golden traditional temple bells and Evergreen Banana leafs.
